Good ol Smokey Brown Eyes

SO Hello, hello! This is my first 2011 post, how exciting!

Definitely going to be doing lots more reviews, as well as keep up with tutorials!

So I'm posting a basic, Smokey eye look which is quite common and fairly easy to do in my opinion. As longa s the colors blend well together, you're set. Lots of different smokey eyelooks out there, but one of my favourites is brown because its wearable, and it not to mentionit suits everyone!!

Anyway here some food for thought..
Cheese and brocolli is one of my favourite snacks, so original. Photobucket
Also nommed some oreo cookies (yes I actually don't prefer the innerwhite cream) + chocolate chip cookies with milk at night. The Bomb dig!! So simple, yet delish.. Photobucket
HERE'S THE TUTORIAL!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is a classy, glamorous look without wanting to look like the center of attention. Brown smokey eyes are definitely one of those all time popular eye looks, that just neverseems to get old. They fit most occasions and definitely captures everyone's eyes.
Photobucket
1.Apply a cream, or white base all over your eyes (preferably matte)
Photobucket
2.Pat on a warm, bronzey shade on the lid and blend upwards.
Photobucket
3.Apply a taupe brown on the edge of the lid and blend in that area.
Photobucket
4.Apply some black eyeshadow with a thin brush as eyeliner, and on the outer V and blend.
Easy peasy! Result?
I've gone CACA for hair dying! (Procedure!)
Hey guys! Happy hoildays and all that jazz` ! It's almost a NEW year, which means resolutions and lots of fun times! I found it a bit too late for me to do new year looks, so I'm probably skipping that! :( However there will be more exciting posts after the new years!
Wanted to show some of the liquid, glitter eyeliners I got!
Not so bad, but not so fab either! I'd give it a 3/5 :S
So I defs love dying my hair, but I DISLIKE the fact that the chemicals are damaging, and enemies to my hair! So what do I do?
.
.
.
BUY LUSH'S CACA hair dye! It's made with stuff that's all natural like cocoa butter, henna etc, which is much more safe than using drugstore alternatives which leaves stingy smells and dry, broken hair. I believe there are 4 color choices, my local lush carries caca noir,brun,rouge,marron. Definitely check them out if you're planning to dye your hair the more natural way, and want a more subtle change rather than something drastic. It also leaves your hair feeling fab, and shiny! AND BTW THIS IS NOT A PERMANENT HAIR DYE! It is about 20.95 for 6 blocks! And you only need 3 or less for each application. Totally feel free to split among your friends to reduce costs
Here is my procedure, kinda like a tutorial! ;) Enjoy!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The materials

You can grate your peices (Which I recommend), OR chop it! ( TAKES A WHILE TO MELT !)

And Voila! :)

I add some sizzlin hot espresso coffee, to darken the color! ( I totally recommend coffee instead of just plain water, just cause it helps ease the smell which people had said caused them severe headaches! :S)

After a few minutes :)

As I waited, I applied some Lemony Flutter I have in a sample, and just apply it on my hairlines to prevent the henna from dying my skin

Yay! I believe this is the cake batter consistency that is now ready!

Application time! You can get the brush from dollar stores, or department stores.
.
.
.
Apres a few hours.. Thisi s the result! A subtle darkening and glistening of the darkest chocolate / lightest black. :)

OH and as I was waiting for my hair to dry for a few hours . . .

She was just a tad freaked out, on how I looked.. Probaby like a psycho monster. .

So Would I recommend THE CACA HAIR DYES?

Well it entirely depends! Overall, it is an experience worth trying, however please read the cons and pros of this, before you get upset after the results.

PROS
-leaves hair soft
-nice, natural color change
-shiny, fuller hair
-no chemicals
-blocks last a long time.
-2/3 blocks is PLENTY.

CONS
-a bit pricy, ( try to split with friends)
-takes hours to keep on, about an hour or so to actually do
-quite messy
-smell is a very 'herbal' (could cause headaches), so MIX WITH COFFEE!
-adds quite a bit of "weight" on your head as you are waiting

Lush, Lush baby!

Hello once again! Digging the new blog look? ;)

I been really into LUSH and just wanted to show you guys some of the productsI have tried, or just what I have ;)

In my last posts, I talked about the Oatifix face mask,the sugar babe scrub and the porridge soap (well it was more likea haul..) BUt anywho! If you haven't read that, please do! :)

It also snowed in Vancouver ;')! Too bad the weather was too dang harsh! I mean negative 8 degrees? I swear my ears could have fallen off!!

So I have some soaps from Lush, and decided to cut them up!
So cute! I cut them up so I don't have to get bored of the same scent for
10 showers..

*TIP: Make sure you guys seal the soaps with some cling wrap otherwise the scent will eventually die x(

Voila! Put them in this huge jar stored in my washroom!

Also tried out this face mask "BB SEAWEED" It wasn't all too bad, It doesn't leave your skin feeling tight or dry! Sensitive skin folks who dont want a drastic result, This is it!

Photobucket

Before editing my blog, I took a dainty bath with these three beauties. (I broke the bath bomb into two, and the bubble bar into 4's!)

Waiting for the water to fill, la la la ~

Success! Cute bubbles galore! And I used like 1/4 of that small bar too.

Here comes Dragon Egg! OOh glitterr! (Totally doesn't stick on your skin btw.)

.
.
.
And that's my bath!

Lush seriously has some cool products that are worth checking out! I have much more
to review in the future, but for now I shall use my bath stuff ;)

In case you guys are fairly new to Lush products
Bubble bars: Create bubbles, and soften your skin leaving your smelling delicious!
Bath bombs: Create fizz, and makes the water change color + softening your skin!
Bath melts: Add a luxurious feel, and moisture to a more enjoyable bath!

I havent personally tried the bath melts, but I am aiming to getting one soon!

Anyway, that was my little post about LUSH! I also have some skincare products I will
take pictures of in the nearer future :), but these products are awesome. You don't
even have to use the whole thing! You can always split costs with your friends if you want; make sure you check out vids on how people divide them into peices, etc!

Have a fabuulouus day!! XOXOO

Facial Brush + Lush Haul!!

Hello my lovelies, how are you guys doing?? It's quite gloomy in Vancouver, but that doesn't stop me from anticipating the best holiday season ever! Christmas, yay! I don't mind much for the rain.If you live in Vancouver, you're used to it!!

I also got the product I have been waiting for like weeks from Revlon!..
.
.
Taa-daa! It's a new product that Revlon has made especially for skin!!
Photobucket
It came with 5 detachments, and only 3 are useful!! (2 are the exact same)

Photobucket

There were 2 sponges, 1 hard surface massager thing, 1 scrubber, and 1 "pimple sucker"I found the "pimple sucker" to be very awkward, and quite frankly I dont like it!!! Why would they invent something like this anyway?

However, still a handy product indeed. I mean for 12.99, It ain't no Clarisonic! I wish I had a Clarisonic, but for the hefty price, I'd gladly pass.

L u s h Haul!!!!!!!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Okay, so I developed LOVE for Lush products I even made a list of what I plan to get!! (I just want a peice of everything, Ahh!!)
Photobucket
So I got the Lush soap in Porridge, Face mask in Oatifix and lastly the Sugar scrub in Sugar babe.
SOAP: mmmMmmm, smells super duper divine and skin becomes milky soft :)
Photobucket
MASK: Smells freakin' yummy, and makes my skin oh so soft..
Photobucket
SUGAR SCRUB: Smells, and feels heavenly in the shower. LOVE!!!
Photobucket
Anywho, stay tuned for further posts!!! XOXOXO
